About Our
Virtual Vaginismus Treatment Program
Virtual Vaginismus Coaching is provided by Women’s Therapy Center
Founders of the Virtual Vaginismus Treatment Program
Women’s Therapy Center was founded in 1996 by Dr. Ditza Katz and Dr. Ross Lynn Tabisel, each bringing more than two decades of clinical experience.
Dr. Katz, PT, PhD, and Dr. Ross Lynn Tabisel, LCSW, PhD, joined forces to create a unique, team-based approach to women’s genital, sexual, and emotional health. Their combined experience and international recognition have helped shape Women’s Therapy Center into the trusted specialty practice it is today.
Both clinicians pioneered their structured vaginismus and painful sex treatment methodology and have treated thousands of patients to date. Their extensive clinical experience and long-standing focus on these conditions make them uniquely qualified to guide this virtual treatment program.
Our Focus
The purpose of this virtual program is to extend our proven clinical experience to women with vaginismus and related painful sex conditions who seek structured treatment delivered remotely. Some women are unable to travel to our New York clinic for in-person care, while others simply prefer the convenience and accessibility of virtual treatment.
This initiative grew out of the many requests for help we have received from women around the world describing their suffering, relationship strain, and deep emotional distress related to vaginismus and painful sex. We felt a responsibility to make our expertise more accessible to those who need it.
Our Commitment
Our approach to virtual vaginismus treatment is grounded in clinical integrity, transparency, and respect for each patient’s individual circumstances. As clinicians providing virtual vaginismus treatment, we will:
- Provide clear guidance and structured direction during treatment sessions.
- Encourage open communication so that concerns and questions can be addressed promptly.
- Maintain the highest standards of professional competence and clinical care.
- Communicate honestly and transparently in all interactions.
- Adhere to all applicable professional standards, laws, and regulations.
